ME MEMBER OF THE MONTH: HOLLY STRATIS

  1. What brought you to the studio?

    I originally came to the studio because I was feeling lost in my regular workout routine. I would go to the gym with a plan and wouldn’t seem to stick to the plan (end up scrolling social media or taking the infamous gym selfie). Jibe offered a structured class and all I needed to do was show up, and the instructors would take it from there.  I found that coming back day after day was something I craved rather than a chore!

    2. How long have you been a member?

    I have been a member for 2 years.  I ride in the summer months as I become a ski bum in the winter and can’t get off the slopes!

    3. What accomplishments or milestones are you most proud of so far?

    I wouldn’t say I have had milestones with Jibe, but learning to love moving my body daily at 7:15 am every morning is something to be proud of myself for!

    4. What was your most memorable experience at Jibe?

    My most memorable experience at Jibe was maybe two months in when I originally joined.  I was in the back of my morning class and found myself crying with pure joy.  I'm not sure if it was the music, the instructor, or the combination of my life's challenges at that time, but I’ll never forget how incredible I felt that day.

    5. What’s your favorite part about Jibe?

    The music is top-notch. Something about singing in the dark while dancing and riding a stationary bike just gets me absolutely jazzed for the rest of my day.
